Session prep

Please read after you book your boudoir session

  • Please arrive on time.
  • If you have booked your session with my MUA included, please come with a clean hair and face.
  • If you did not book with my MUA, then please come with my hair and makeup ready, please use eyelashes, they help tremendously in your facial expression, buy the ones with a natural look. In regards to your makeup go for a natural look, don’t use shimmer since it can bounce the light.
  • Bring a snack and liquid.
  • Color your nails.
  • Color your hair.
  • Wax and do facial at least 3 days before your session.
  • Pack the night before, that will give you time to remember if you forget something.
  • Get a good night’s sleep. Tiredness can’t be photoshopped.
  • Don’t wear tight clothing before the session to avoid marks on your skin. (socks, very tight pants on the waist, etc.)
  • DON’T USE SELF-TANNING CREAMS, or makeup, you will look orange in your pictures!
  • Don’t eat a heavy meal at least 12 hours before your session.
  • Don’t experiment with beauty practices like chemical peel, wax if you have never done it before.
  • DON’T EXPOSE TO THE SUN before your session. When you get burned by sun it can take up to 2 months or longer to vanish tan lines. I can’t promise to vanish tan lines on Photoshop.
  • Don’t make appointments to go anywhere after your session for at least two hours in case we spend more time than expected.
  • Don’t be shy; be confident in your photographer.
  • Don’t worry about your imperfections, but please tell me your concerns so we can work on them.
  • PLEASE, enjoy and have fun on your session, you will reveal that in your images.
  • Please don’t be shy and ask for specific poses or full nudes, I want you to be happy with your images.
